[Eng] The law in outer space. Gaps in Spanish legislation and how to address them
Outer space is a sector that has grown in importance due to its use over recent decades. Today, private entities have joined the public sector in utilising this medium. Against this backdrop, numerous states have been compelled to enact legislation whereby they impose a series of obligations on their natural and legal persons in order to safeguard their international commitments. Furthermore, these national regulations governing space activities have served to clearly structure the procedures to be followed to fulfil these obligations, setting out the competences and administrative arrangements for this purpose. The aim of this paper is therefore to identify these shortcomings in the legal framework, compare them with similar legislation, and conclude with some considerations relating to this area.

[Eng] The administrative perspective of the Spanish Space Agency Statute.
The entry into force of Royal Decree 158/2023 of 7 March marked the final formal requirement for the establishment of the Spanish Space Agency. This institution forms part of the Spanish public sector and will therefore be subject to the administrative framework of our legal system in its launch and in the conduct of its activities. The aim of this book is to situate the Agency within the context of the current administrative system in our country, in order to understand its distinctive characteristics, its values and its mode of operation. In doing so, it will provide a general administrative overview of the Agency and facilitate an understanding of its future activities.
